WHO’S LEWIS TODD?

Lewis was the son of Fred and Gladys Todd and was born on June 7, 1932. Lewis was raised on the family ranch along Piney Creek, between Sheridan and Ucross, Wyoming. In 1953, Lewis joined the US Marine Corps and was stationed in Pearl Harbor. Among other things, Lewis also took the time to do a little bullriding while he was in Hawaii. In 1956, he separated from the Corps with the rank of Seargent. He later married Beverly Harris (Grace), the daughter of George Sr. and Sylvia Grace. Beverly had 4 children from previous marriages (Dale Harris, Marcia Harris, Fawn Harris and Marilyn Collins). Marcia and Fawn both changed their names to Todd, while Dale and Marilyn kept theirs. Lewis and Beverly also had two sons, Thomas and John, although Tommy passed shortly after birth.

It’s a little hard to write a “Who Is” that does justice to Papa and, by extension, Nana and the rest of us. This page will be a work in progress until I’m satisfied that I’ve managed to explain who this complicated, quiet, stubborn and frequently frustrating man is…at least enough to give anyone reading this at least an idea of who is was.
